Horse Riding

Last Sunday, we went horse riding at Extreme PD Buggy Trek - AS Equestrian Center (Mantin, Negeri Sembilan). Now I can scratch off "horse riding" from my to-do list! It was fantastic! I felt like making it a hobby except it's an expensive hobby D:

I bought vouchers for this horse riding activities from Groupon for a value of RM125 (if I'm not mistaken). The trainers were nice and friendly. The horse I rode was a handsome one and his name is King. It reminds me of my then hamster which I named King.

Practise makes perfect!
We practise riding the horse in the compound (as pic above) for about 30 mins or so. It's not as easy as it might look. Even mounting the horse proved to be a challenge.

In addition, the horse can be stubborn and wouldn't budge even if you kicked its side (which is a gesture you made to make the horse moving). Manoeuvring can be quite difficult too but I reckon once you get used to it, it'd be easy as ABC.
My horse is called "King" and that striped shirt guy was the owner
After that, we went into the jungle for about 30 minutes or so. It was an amazing experience. Later when we returned back to the compound, we are taught how to trot. Boy that hurt! As in my bums!!!!! I don't know whether it's because I was doing it wrongly but it hurt!

It'd be great to do horse riding again. Well maybe when I have the cash :-)

Teater Badai Semalam

Malas nak update tapi rase cam nak merakamkan detik-detik memori first time pergi tengok theatre :P

I went to watch Badai Semalam with my mum :-)

It was my first time watching a theater so I was esctatic!!

However a lot of things happened that really tested my patience.. One of them was when my payment was not captured. So we had to exchange our original seats that were worth RM150 and settled for cheaper ones which cost RM70 :-( They returned back our balance money thankfully.. Otherwise I'd have created a major scene. Yeah right. Haha.

It was my first time going to Istana Budaya. Kurang kekelasan. Harap maklum. Anda yang ada kelas tu sila dok sana diam2. Macam rusa masuk kampung pon ade.
I looked fat... I AM FAT :'(
Really they need to improve on the signage. There's no clear direction as to where is the entrance to the Istana Budaya, or entrance to the theatre, or direction to the cafeteria. For somebody jakun like us, memang felt a bit difficult to breeze through.

My take on the story: Ceritanya boleh tahan.. Typical Malay story. Not much impact on me probably the script pun too short. Cannot really see the development of the characters. I was bored at some points because I bukan berjiwa sastera so I don't appreciate the poetic phrases used. It wasn't a total snooze fest though because there were some comic relief moments occasionally. I enjoyed their performances nevertheless, which is a given since they're all A-list actors. Love the OST but did not manage to get my hands on the CD :'( There's one particular song that I really like, which was sung by Fizz Fairuz, when Zaki's heart got broken by Mazni...

Conclusion: I reckon melodrama is not really my cup of tea. If I were to watch another theater, it'd be a funny musical like Lat The Musical. Sekian :)

Thai Massage

I took a leave today. I had something important to do. After I finished the important job around 4 PM, I went straight to Midvalley.

My main intention was to have a Thai Massage at Thai Odyssey. I've been wanting to try Thai massage ever since my colleague mention it's a massage that can be performed even when you are fully clothed on. Anyway, I need to release my stress. It's crazy. Works were driving me crazy.

I wanted to watch Xmen too but because I arrived quite late due to congestion and it took me almost 1 hour before I got a parking space, so i decided not to. Otherwise I'd end up going back late to home and will get scolding by my parents.

When I first got there, I chose the package that I wanted. I was asked to pay first. I can't remember the exact amount that I had to pay but if I'm not mistaken, it's about RM100 in total.

A Thai woman washed my feet and brought me to a room.

The room was dimly lit with a standing fan. I'm glad it's not air conditioned because I don't quite like the coldness (the usual environment when I did my facial).

I was asked to change into a pajamas. Yes a pajamas. An oversize and comfortable pajamas ;)

Then the masssaging session began. It was excruciating painful... well at some point la. At some time it was ticklish. LOL. One of the reasons why I prefer Thai massage because it does not require you to be naked or exposed your body to a stranger.

The whole massage took about 1 hour.

Overall it was a good experience. Thing like this need to be done once in a lifetime. My motto: we need to try everything once in a lifetime as long as it's not against the Islamic law or human law.
